General Job Description:

Plan and implement a full-day, year round, developmentally appropriate curriculum including weekly themes and lesson plans, inclusion of theme related materials, and rotation of toys and equipment on a regular basis. Provide a safe, responsive, stimulating environment by actively engaging oneself in daily activities and routines. Form and maintain professional relationships with parents and families. Assess all areas of development of children using goal-based assessments, Wisconsin Model of Early Learning Standards and individual portfolios. Conduct two goal setting conferences per year with each family.

Responsible for supervision and direction of Assistant Teachers and Floats. Maintain all certifications as required. Ensure compliance with all Wisconsin Department of Children and Families rules and regulations for licensed group child care centers as well as YoungStar standards.

Maintain Registry certification, CPR & First Aid Certifications and continuing education hours.
